The second annual Holiday Party of the Paradise Coast Austin-Healey Club will be held on December 18th, noon to 3 pm at
F.M. Don’s. The restaurant is located at 201 W. Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda and is the same restaurant we used for the
Holiday Party last year. This occasion will also celebrate the return of our Club’s snowbirds who have rejoined our warmer
climes.
Don’s offers wonderful food, great service and a welcoming festive ambiance. Attendees will order from the menu. So that we
might give the restaurant staff a number to expect, by December 10 please let Walt Mainberger
(Waltm@comcast.net ) know if you will be attending. Remember, spouses and significant others are invited and holiday attire
is encouraged.
In the spirit of the season, each member or couple should bring a gift with a value not exceeding $20 to be exchanged with
fellow members.
The Holiday Party also serves as the Club’s December monthly meeting so following libations and lunch, President Walt will
provide a “State of the Club” address and we will announce the 2025 “Golden Spanner” award recipient. The Golden
Spanner Award is our way of saying “thank you” to the club member who has gone above and beyond over the past year. It
celebrates someone who’s always there to lend a hand, share their know-how, and help make our club the great community it
is. This is the highest honor for a member of our Club and a sign of our gratitude for their participation in our Club.
