Here is an original Lucas 584 dipping mirror, the rare mounted day/night produced in the 1950s and used by rally drivers and others who wanted the advantages of a mirror that dips to eliminate glare from bright headlamps of following cars. These were fitted to MGA Sunbeam Talbots, some Aston Martins, Ferraris, Bentleys, Rolls Royces and other high-performance and luxury cars of the 1950s. It was original equipment for the 100S and optional and seen on 100/4 and 100M but suitable for all Healeys as an option
