About
History - Our Club began in 2023 when a few Southwest Florida Healey owners gathered together with the idea of forming a club that would have geographic appeal to those who reside in the region bounded by Tampa to the north, Naples to the south and central Florida to the east. Sufficient interest quickly materialized and with the efforts of Steve Bell and a few others the application to form a chapter was submitted and approved by the Austin-Healey Club of America.
Membership - Most of us maintain, drive and show our Healeys, while other members simply enjoy the camaraderie associated with the appreciation of Donald Healey motorcars. Ownership of an Austin-Healey is not required. We are a registered non-profit 501 (c) (7) social club corporation in the state of Florida and with the IRS. We are fully insured for club events.
Purpose - We seek to promote, enjoy and celebrate our common interest in and enthusiasm for the automobiles produced by Donald M Healey. We aspire to accomplish this mission through our social gatherings, monthly meetings, technical sessions, car shows, driving events and other activities to advance the knowledge of and appreciation for these wonderful cars. We cooperate and coordinate with other local British car clubs to get the most of our shared interest, and we are committed to helping each other have fun with our cars and keep them on the road.
Meetings - Monthly meetings are typically held on the 4th Thursday of each month. Please check the calendar to verify the meeting date and location. These meetings are great occasions to build friendships, expand one's knowledge of the marque, and keep up-to-date on regional classic car events.12:00 lunch, 1:00 business meeting held at Beef O'Brady's Restaurant, 1105 Taylor Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
